Twenty years on, this white shirt is faultless: no yellowing at the collar or underarms, the woven vertical-stripe fabric is intact, the blue and red trims perfectly crisp. The ZIDANE No.10 printing and both sleeve patches show no cracking at all. No holes, no stains, no pilling. This is the best condition I have seen this model in.

📖 2006: Zidane's last summer
Few shirts tell a story this clearly. The 2006 white with blue-white-red trims, with the No.10 of Zinédine Zidane on the back, is the shirt of the final campaign of a player who had announced his retirement before the tournament even kicked off.
🏆 9 July 2006, Berlin. France against Italy in the final. Zidane opens the scoring with a panenka over Buffon in the 7th minute. Then comes the 110th minute, Materazzi, the headbutt, the red card. The last match of a career, all of it in this white shirt.
⭐ Why white and not blue. With Italy playing in blue, France had to switch to their away shirt for the final. That is why the 2006 white — often thought of as the « second » shirt — is in fact the one from the most watched match in Les Bleus' history.
🗓️ The date on the label. 03/06: March 2006. This shirt comes from the batch produced for the tournament, not from a later re-release. For a collector, that is the whole difference between a period piece and a remake.

It is the model France wore in the 2006 World Cup final, with the ZIDANE No.10 printing — but in the fan version, the one sold to the public at the time. It is not a match-worn shirt: I do not sell any match-worn without documented provenance.

No, and that is exactly what justifies the price. No yellowing at the collar, no underarm rings, no overall greyish cast. The photos are taken with no colour retouching — the white you see is the real white.

54 cm pit to pit and 77 cm in length, flat measurements given above. Mid-2000s adidas cuts are longer and wider than today's: this M often corresponds to a modern L. Compare with a shirt that fits you.
