Shirt condition

Brand new with tags

This shirt has never been worn and comes with its original Nike cardboard tag still attached (photo 3). The yellow is perfectly even, the fabric has never been through a wash, and the long sleeves are completely new — no sheen at the elbows, no slack in the cuffs. The LLORIS No.1 nameset is perfect, with the FFF hexagon intact at the foot of the digit. Spotless embroidered cockerel and two stars, raglan collar as firm as on day one. This is the highest condition I can offer.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If anything you buy from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund it in full. The guarantee never expires.

  • Original Nike cardboard tag still attached (photo 3): reference DN0664-740, « Mens / Homme », size XL / TG, barcode 196148 39620 1 and a traceability QR code. The most direct proof that a shirt has never been resold
  • The sewn-in label carries the same data (photo 4): reference DN0664-740, size XL, barcode 196148396201 and batch HO220407SYG. The two labels match, digit for digit
  • The FFF hexagon is printed at the foot of the 1 (photo 5): a tiny yellow hexagon containing the cockerel, built into the base of the digit. Fake namesets stop at the number
  • The cockerel is embroidered, not printed, topped by the two stars (1998 and 2018): clean relief and a woven yellow outline around the black motif
  • Real photos of the exact shirt you receive, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — A shirt that is new with tags is easier to authenticate than a worn one, but you still need to know where to look. Here the cardboard tag carries a QR code and an RFID chip (the small « RFID SYG » logo in photo 3): a traceability system Nike rolled out across its recent production, and one fakes rarely reproduce — even less with a barcode that exactly matches the one on the label sewn inside the collar. Two tags, same data: that is what I check first.

📖 Lloris, the armband and a captain's last World Cup

This yellow shirt belonged to France's goalkeeper and captain during his final major international tournament — and this particular example has never left its hanger.

🏆 December 2022 — the Lusail final. France reached the World Cup final and lost to Argentina on penalties after a 3-3 that became legendary. Lloris was in goal.

⭐ Record cap-holder. Hugo Lloris broke France's appearance record and captained the side for over a decade. He retired from international football in early 2023, straight after this World Cup.

🎯 The two stars. The embroidered cockerel is topped by two stars: 1998 and 2018. Lloris is the captain who lifted the second one.

🎨 New, in XL, with the captain's nameset — Finding this goalkeeper shirt still tagged is already rare; finding it with the LLORIS No.1 nameset more so. The combination makes it a display piece as much as a shirt to wear.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is the shirt genuinely new?

Yes. It has never been worn or washed, and its original Nike cardboard tag is still attached — you can see it in photo 3, with the reference, size and barcode. It ships to you exactly as pictured.

Is the nameset original or added later?

It is an official nameset: 2022 FFF font, matte black, with the cockerel hexagon built into the foot of the 1 (photo 5). That last detail is what separates an official nameset from one applied afterwards.

How do you know this is a 2022 shirt?

Two labels agree: the cardboard tag and the sewn-in label carry the same DN0664-740 reference and matching barcodes, with batch HO220407SYG dated 2022. The two stars above the cockerel rule out any date before 2018.

Is this shirt authentic?

Yes. Original cardboard tag with QR code and RFID, matching sewn-in label, embroidered cockerel and stars in relief, FFF hexagon built into the nameset and the chest No.1. Authenticity guaranteed for life.

How does this XL fit?

Measured flat: 61 cm pit to pit and 78 cm long. This is a goalkeeper XL, so genuinely roomy. If you wear L and like comfort, it will suit you; if you want a fitted shirt, this is not the right size.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 in mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
