No flaws. The yellow is still bright and even across the whole shirt, sleeves included — and on a long-sleeve goalkeeper shirt the forearms and elbows are the first areas to wear, yet here they are untouched, with no sheen and no pilling. The LLORIS No.1 nameset is perfect: deep black, sharp edges, FFF hexagon intact at the foot of the digit. The embroidered cockerel and the two stars are spotless, with no pulled threads. The raglan collar holds its shape, the cuffs have no slack and all labels are present.

📖 Lloris, the armband and a captain's last World Cup
This yellow shirt belonged to France's goalkeeper and captain during his final major international tournament.
🏆 December 2022 — the Lusail final. France reached the World Cup final and lost to Argentina on penalties after a 3-3 that became legendary. Lloris was in goal.
⭐ Record cap-holder. Hugo Lloris broke France's appearance record and captained the side for over a decade. He retired from international football in early 2023, straight after this World Cup.
🎯 The two stars. The embroidered cockerel is topped by two stars: 1998 and 2018. Lloris is the captain who lifted the second one.
🎨 The yellow of French goalkeepers — Nike chose a clean, plain yellow with no pattern and no sponsor for the 2022 goalkeeper kit. The contrast with the black cockerel and nameset makes it one of the most legible goalkeeper shirts of the period, and the only one Lloris wore in a World Cup final.

No, and that is the first thing I check on a goalkeeper shirt. No sheen, no pilling, no thinning at the elbows or forearms. The cuffs have no slack either. That is what earns this shirt its 10/10.
How do you know this is a 2022 shirt?
The Nike reference DN0664-740 on the label is the one for the 2022 France goalkeeper shirt, and the batch number FA220105SYG confirms a 2022 production. The two stars above the cockerel also rule out any date before 2018.
Why is there a No.1 on the chest?
That is the official FFF configuration for goalkeeper shirts: the number is repeated on the torso as well as the back. Reproductions almost always leave the chest blank — a good test.
