8.5/10
Shirt condition
Very good condition
The black is still deep, with no fading, and the fabric does not pill. The embroidered crest and the Nike swoosh are spotless, and the A. INIESTA 8 printing is complete. Wear is concentrated on the sponsors: a small chip on the Qatar Foundation on the front (photo 6) and fine cracking on the Unicef on the back (photo 7).

What you need to know
Two signs of wear on the printed sponsors: a small chip under the “Qatar” on the front (photo 6) and fine cracking in the “Unicef” on the back (photo 7). Nothing is peeling or missing, and the fabric itself is sound.

Workshop note — The -010 suffix of the Nike code stands for the black colourway: 419882-010 is indeed the 2011-2012 away version, while the home shirt of the same season carries a different reference. The FA11 season on the tag matches the autumn 2011 collection, when the shirt was released.
Iniesta and Guardiola's last Barça
A product of La Masia, Andrés Iniesta wore Barça's 8 as the club started the 2011-2012 season as champions of Europe, after beating Manchester United at Wembley in May 2011. A year earlier, he had given Spain its first World Cup by scoring in the final against the Netherlands.
The season started strongly: Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid, then the UEFA Super Cup against Porto in August 2011.
18 December 2011, Yokohama. In the Club World Cup final, Barça outclassed Santos and a young Neymar 4-0. Messi scored twice, Xavi and Fàbregas added the others.
Pep Guardiola left the club in May 2012 with a final win in the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao (3-0). A few weeks later, Iniesta was named player of the tournament at Euro 2012, won by Spain.
Frequently asked questions
Do the marks on the sponsors show when worn?
Not from a distance. The chip on the Qatar Foundation and the cracking on the Unicef are noticeable up close, as in photos 6 and 7. Wash the shirt inside out at 30 °C so they don't progress.
Why Qatar Foundation and Unicef?
Long without a commercial sponsor, Barça put Unicef on the chest from 2006. In 2011, Qatar Foundation took the chest and Unicef moved to the back: that is the layout of this shirt.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the small inner tag: code 419882-010, specific to this black version. Then check the embroidery of the crest and the Catalan flag below the collar.
How does this M fit?
True to size in width (52 cm pit to pit) and slightly short (72 cm). It will suit an M of average height; if you are tall, look at an L instead.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipped within 24-48 h with tracking: €5.99 in France, €9.99 to the EU, free from €99.99. You have 14 days to send the shirt back if it doesn't suit you. All the details in my shipping FAQ.
