Shirt condition

As new (without tags)

Flawless. The blaugrana dot pattern is perfectly sharp with no faded area, the red collar has kept all its hold, the yellow of the Qatar Foundation print and of the ABIDAL No.22 printing is vivid. No holes, no stains, no pilling, no sign of the printing lifting. It simply no longer has its original cardboard tags — but the condition is that of a shirt never worn.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Every piece is checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a shirt bought from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund it in full. No expiry date on that guarantee.

  • Original Nike inner label photographed (photo 4): reference 478325-410, size S, product code FA120205SYS — all three match the FC Barcelona 2012-2013 home shirt as referenced by Nike
  • High-density embroidered FCB crest: the St George's cross, the senyera, the ball and the FCB lettering are all perfectly defined (photo 3) — this is where fakes flatten out
  • Qatar Foundation sponsor: it was only worn up to 2013 before being replaced by Qatar Airways — it dates the shirt on its own
  • ABIDAL No.22 printing in the club's official font, with miniature FCB crests built into the base of the digits (photo 5), and the Catalan senyera printed below the collar at the back
  • Real photos of the exact shirt for sale, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — On this model my first checkpoint is the halftone: the blue-to-garnet gradient must be produced by varying the size of the dots, not by a plain colour fade. Fakes print a smooth gradient and it shows immediately up close. Here the dots are there (photo 3).

📖 Abidal 2012-2013: the shirt of a comeback nobody expected

Some printings are worth having for the trophies. And then there is ABIDAL 22, which is worth having for something else. This shirt belongs to the season when a footballer came back to play at the highest level one year after a liver transplant. It is probably the most moving number in the Camp Nou's recent history.

📅 28 May 2011 — Champions League final at Wembley, Barcelona 3-1 Manchester United. Two months after surgery on a liver tumour, Abidal played the final. Puyol handed him the captain's armband so he could lift the trophy. An image that travelled the world.

📅 April 2012 — liver transplant. The sporting prognosis was simple: most observers considered his career over. He would not play again for almost a year.

📅 April 2013 — the return at the Camp Nou. Abidal played again in this shirt, a year after the transplant, to a standing ovation from the entire stadium. That is the exact season the piece you are looking at belongs to.

👑 The 2012-2013 season — Tito Vilanova's Barcelona won La Liga with 100 points, one of the highest totals in the history of the Spanish league. Abidal left the club at the end of that season: this shirt is therefore the last he wore in blaugrana.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Swipe →

01

Whoever the story moves

An armband handed over at Wembley, a transplant, a comeback a year later. Few football shirts carry a human story of this weight.

02

The Barça collector

2012-2013 means the 100-point La Liga and Abidal's last season in blaugrana. A printing that only existed within that window.

03

The French Barça supporter

Abidal means Lyon, then Barcelona, and 67 caps for France. The most respected French printing at the Camp Nou.

04

Whoever wants zero flaws

10/10 on a 2012 shirt, with an intact player printing: that is rare. Look at the photos, there is nothing to report.

Not sure? My Mystery Box is a great alternative — just add "Barça" in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is this Barça shirt authentic?

Yes. The Nike label photographed (photo 4) carries reference 478325-410, size S, matching the FC Barcelona 2012-2013 home shirt. Add the high-density embroidered crest, the raised halftone print and the official printing with integrated crests. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.

How do I know it really is the 2012-2013 season?

The Qatar Foundation sponsor is the decisive marker: it was only worn for a short period before being replaced by Qatar Airways. Combined with Nike reference 478325-410, the dating is unambiguous.

What is the small flag below the collar at the back?

It is the senyera, the flag of Catalonia, which FC Barcelona traditionally places at the nape of its shirts. A strong identity detail, almost always omitted or badly reproduced on fakes.

Why is the Abidal printing sought after?

Because 2012-2013 was his last season at Barça, and above all the season of his return to competition a year after a liver transplant. It is an emotionally charged printing, produced over a short window — markedly less common than a Messi or an Iniesta from the same year.

How does this S fit?

Fitted, like all Nike shirts of this generation. Measured flat: 48 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long. An S worn close to the body. If you like a relaxed or streetwear fit, size up.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 within mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
