Nothing to report. The yellow is clean and even, with no faded patches or haloes — the first thing I check on a light colour. The navy and garnet diagonal sash is crisp, the MESSI No.10 printing perfectly bonded, the embroidered crest flawless and the LaLiga patch intact. Sleeves and collar with no stretching, all inner labels present.

📖 The yellow with the sash, and the end of an era
This yellow away cut by a blaugrana sash is one of the most elegant Nike ever produced for Barça — and it belongs to the period when nobody could yet picture Messi anywhere but the Camp Nou.
📅 2019-2020 season — Messi's second-to-last at Barça. He finished it as captain, La Liga's top scorer and top assist provider. Two years later he had left the club. This shirt belongs to the final chapter.
🏆 December 2019 — the sixth Ballon d'Or. Messi became the first player in history to win six, right in the middle of the season this shirt belongs to.
🎨 A return to the historic sash. Nike revived here the diagonal sash of the 1990s away shirts, on a clean yellow. The result wears very well in town, even if you are not a culer.

Why does the label say XL when you list it as an S?
Because it is an XL from Nike's junior range, not an adult XL. In practice a junior XL corresponds to an adult S. The flat measurements confirm it: 46 cm across and 67 cm long, where an adult XL would be around 60 cm across. So I sell this shirt as an adult S, and I flag it at the very top of the page to avoid any bad surprise.
How do you know it is 2019-2020?
The Nike label carries the reference AJ5800-728 and the season code FA19, which designates the Fall 2019 collection — so the 2019-2020 season. It is directly readable in photo 4.
Has the yellow faded?
No. On a light shirt that is the first thing I check: no faded areas, no underarm haloes, no yellowing at the collar. The yellow is even across the whole surface. The photos are of the exact shirt for sale.
