Shirt condition
Very good condition
The orange-to-yellow gradient is vivid and even, the Qatar Foundation sponsor and embroidered crest are spotless, and the MESSI 10 nameset is sharp and lies flat. The only point to note: a few small pulled threads at the bottom of the shirt, on the yellow part (photo 6).

Workshop note — On this model, look at the transition from orange to yellow: the gradient is built from a pattern of small dots that gradually space out. Here it is regular and matched at the seams, and the FA12 prefix on the label lines up with the shirt's autumn 2012 release.
Messi, the year of every record
In his first season in charge, Tito Vilanova led Barça to the Spanish title with 100 points, equalling the record set by Real Madrid the season before.
9 December 2012, Benito Villamarín. With a brace against Betis, Messi reaches 86 goals in the calendar year and breaks Gerd Müller's record of 85 goals in 1972. He ends 2012 with 91.
He goes on to score in 21 consecutive Liga matchdays and ends the season with 46 league goals, Spain's top scorer and European Golden Shoe winner.
This orange and yellow gradient away shirt takes its colours from the senyera, the Catalan flag.
Frequently asked questions
Are the pulled threads visible when worn?
Barely: they are small loops in the knit at the bottom of the shirt (photo 6), with no hole. Tucked in or worn over trousers, you will not notice them.
Why is UNICEF on the back?
Barça has carried UNICEF since 2006. When Qatar Foundation became the first chest sponsor in 2011, the UNICEF logo moved below the number, on the back.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Read the inner label: code 478326-815, size S, code FA121104DHB and barcode. Then look at the crest embroidery and how regular the gradient dot pattern is.
How does this S fit?
True to size for a slim Nike cut: 48 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long. It will suit an S or a very slim M.
