📖 Euro 2012: the tournament where Ronaldo carried Portugal
Summer 2012, Poland and Ukraine. At 27, Cristiano Ronaldo was at the peak of his physical power, carrying a Portugal side that had still won nothing. This red shirt, with the UEFA EURO 2012 patch stitched on the sleeve, is the tournament version — the one worn on the pitch, not the standard retail release.
📅 17 June 2012 — Portugal 2-1 Netherlands. Ronaldo scored twice in Kharkiv and sent Portugal through from a group of death. The night he turned the tournament around.
⚽ 21 June 2012 — Portugal 1-0 Czech Republic. A Ronaldo header, and Portugal reached the semi-finals. Three goals in three matches for the No.7.
🌍 27 June 2012 — the semi-final against Spain. 0-0 after extra time, knocked out on penalties in Donetsk by the eventual champions. Portugal would have to wait until 2016 to finally lift the trophy.
👑 Cristiano Ronaldo — born in Funchal in 1985, five-time Ballon d'Or winner, 2016 European champion and 2019 Nations League winner with Portugal, all-time top scorer in international football. In 2012 he was still the player who had everything left to win — that is the moment this shirt captures.

How does it differ from the retail version?
The UEFA EURO 2012 patch stitched on the right sleeve. It was only applied to shirts worn during the tournament and to versions officially printed for the event. Without that badge, it is simply the standard release.
What is the collar motif?
It is the Cross of Christ, Portugal's historic emblem, woven tonally into the green collar. It also appears as small crosses on the sleeve trims. Counterfeits simplify or omit this detail.
How does this L fit?
56 cm pit to pit and 75 cm in length, flat measurements given above. It is a 2012 Nike L with a classic straight cut. Compare with a shirt you already wear — that is the most reliable method.
