📖 2014-2015: Di Maria's ill-fated bet at Old Trafford
This blue third shirt is printed with the name of Angel Di Maria, signed in the summer of 2014 from Real Madrid for what was then a club record fee (around £60 million).
📅 2014-2015 season — under Louis van Gaal. Man United finish 4th in the Premier League and return to the Champions League after a season without European football. Di Maria shone in his first months before injuries derailed his season; he left for PSG the following summer.
👑 Angel Di Maria — a talented Argentine winger and 2014 World Cup finalist with Argentina, whose brief spell at Manchester remains one of the most discussed transfers of the period.
