Perfect condition

No flaws: the blue and white pattern is vivid, with no fading or pilling, and the red shoulder stripes are intact. The TeamViewer sponsor, the Kohler sleeve logo and the crest are spotless. The printing is complete and lies flat. The shirt no longer has its retail tags, hence the pre-owned listing.

Workshop note — Code GM4621 matches the 2021-2022 away shirt, and the 06/21 date falls just before its release in summer 2021. I also check the pattern: the blue diagonals are printed into the fabric and follow the ribbed knit with no offset at the seams.

Pogba, the last dance at Old Trafford

Back at Manchester United in 2016 for what was then a record fee, Paul Pogba starts his sixth season at the club in 2021-2022, wearing the number 6.

14 August 2021: on the opening day of the Premier League, United beat Leeds 5-1 and Pogba provides four assists.

A few days later, Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the club. Yet the season goes wrong: Ole Gunnar Solskjær is sacked in November, Ralf Rangnick takes over as interim manager and United finish sixth.

Out of contract, Pogba leaves Manchester in summer 2022 to rejoin Juventus. This was the last away shirt he wore with the Red Devils.
