The black is still deep, the orange braided cuffs have not moved, the embroidered lupetto crest is flawless and the DYBALA No.21 printing is perfectly bonded. One reservation, stated plainly: a very small snag in the knit, shown close-up in photo 6. It is genuinely hard to see — I had to bring the camera in to make it visible — but it exists, so I show it. No stains, no holes, no fading otherwise.

📖 The return of the lupetto, and Dybala's No.21
This black third is one of the most loved shirts among Roma supporters of the decade, for one precise reason: adidas put back the "lupetto", AS Roma's historic little wolf, in place of the modern crest. A direct nod to the shirts of the 1980s and 1990s, on a contemporary cut.
📅 July 2022 — Dybala joins Roma on a free transfer. After seven seasons at Juventus, the Argentine moved to Rome and took the No.21. One of the most symbolic transfers in recent Italian football.
📅 31 May 2023 — Europa League final in Budapest. Dybala opened the scoring against Sevilla; Roma lost on penalties. A goal that made him an instant idol at the Olimpico.
📅 2023-2024 season — the one this shirt belongs to. A year of upheaval: José Mourinho was dismissed in January and Daniele De Rossi, a club icon, took over. Roma went all the way to the Europa League semi-final — the UEFA patches on this shirt belong to that campaign.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt
What exactly is the flaw?
A very small snag in the knit, shown close-up in photo 6. You really have to look for it at normal distance. Nothing else: no holes, no stains, no fading of the black, printing and crest intact. Hence 9.5/10 rather than 10.
What is the "lupetto"?
It is AS Roma's historic logo: a stylised wolf head in a circle, referencing the Roman she-wolf. adidas brought it back on this third in place of the modern crest — which is exactly why this shirt is so popular with supporters.
Why is there no sponsor on the front?
This example does not carry one: the front is entirely black, with only the adidas logo and the lupetto crest. I would rather state that clearly than let you discover it — and for many buyers it is precisely what makes the shirt more elegant to wear day to day.
Is this shirt authentic?
Yes. The authentication here rests on three physical elements that are hard to fake: the high-density lupetto embroidery, the raised braided cuffs and the Roman pattern printed inside the digits. The inner label is present (photo 4) but hard to read in the image, so I do not rely on it. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.
How does this M fit?
Measured flat: 50 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long. A modern adidas M, fairly fitted. If you wear a M and like a relaxed fit, size up.
