Shirt condition

Excellent condition

The white is clean, the blue and black band behind Pirelli has kept its colours and the embroidered crest is spotless. Two details to flag: fine surface micro-scratches on the Pirelli logo, visible up close (photo 4), and a small grey mark at the bottom of the shirt, near the Nike Team label (photo 7). Hence the 9/10 rating.

Workshop note — On Nike shirts from this period, the small inside label carries four lines: batch reference, size, model code and barcode. Here the code 373582-105 and the SP10 batch match the 2009-2010 season. The name, number and both patches were applied in my workshop: I never use them as proof.

Inter 2009-2010, the historic treble

In summer 2009, Samuel Eto'o arrived from Barcelona in the swap that sent Zlatan Ibrahimović to Catalonia. Under José Mourinho, Inter went on to the greatest season in their history.

Scudetto, Coppa Italia, Champions League. On 22 May 2010 in Madrid, two goals from Diego Milito beat Bayern Munich (2-0): Inter became the first Italian club to win the treble.

Eto'o, two trebles in a row. Already a treble winner with Barça in 2009, the Cameroonian repeated the feat the following year with Inter, often accepting a defensive role on the flank.

Are the name, number and patches original?

The ETO'O 9 name and number and the Champions League and RESPECT patches were applied in my workshop. I never count them among the proofs of authenticity: those relate to the shirt only.

Can you see the micro-scratches on the sponsor?

Only very close up and under raking light, as in photo 4. The lettering is complete and is not peeling.

How can I check the shirt is authentic?

Find the inside label: the code 373582-105 matches the Inter 2009-2010 away shirt and can be checked online. Also look at the embroidery of the crest and its tricolour circle.

How does this XL fit?

Loose, like Nike cuts of the time: 63 cm pit to pit and 79 cm long. If you wear XL on the high street, it will fit with room to spare.
