AS Roma 2020-2021 Home Shirt - Mkhitaryan No.77 (S)

⚠️ Read this before you buy

Light wear on the back nameset: very faint fold marks in the white of the 77, visible only in macro (photo 6). No lifting corners, no cracking. At normal distance the nameset looks new.

📐 Flat measurements

Lay flat a shirt that already fits you well, measure it the same way and compare — vintage sizing is often very different from new.

Excellent, apart from the light nameset wear flagged above. The maroon is still deep and even, with no shiny patches and no discolouration at the underarms, and the horizontal red / orange / yellow band is perfectly crisp across its whole width. The Qatar Airways sponsor at the front and the Hyundai at the lower back are intact, with no cracking. The white MKHITARYAN No.77 nameset with orange outline is complete, with the two Roma crests set at the foot of the digits. Flawless embroidered crest, firmly stitched Europa League and UEFA Respect patches, crew neck with no stretching. No odour, washed and inspected in my workshop.

• The Roma crests are printed inside the digits (photos 5 and 6): two small Capitoline wolf shields set at the foot of each 7. That is the signature of the season's official Europa League nameset, and copies stop at the number
• The word « ROMA » is woven under the inner collar (photo 2): in yellow on the maroon taping, above the Nike Dri-FIT label. An internal detail reproductions always skip
• The sleeve patches are stitched, not heat-pressed (photos 1 and 2): the Europa League badge and the UEFA Respect badge are overlocked in place, exactly as on the shirts issued for the competition

📖 The last season before Mourinho

This shirt belongs to Roma's pivot season: a proper European run, an Armenian No.77 at the top of his game, and a Portuguese manager arriving right after.

🏆 Europa League semi-final. Roma knocked out Shakhtar and Ajax before falling to Manchester United in the next round. The club's best European campaign in years.

⭐ Mkhitaryan, in the form of his life. The Armenian international piled up goals and assists that season in a free role behind the strikers. His No.77 became one of the most requested namesets at the Stadio Olimpico.

🎯 The turn towards the Mourinho era. Paulo Fonseca's spell ended with this season; José Mourinho arrived in summer 2021 and took Roma to the Conference League a year later.

🎨 Maroon and a sunburst band — Nike ran a horizontal red, orange and yellow band across this shirt, a nod to the club's historic colours. A highly identifiable design, still one of the most sought-after of Nike's spell in Rome.
