Mbappé & Neymar: Why are these PSG jerseys going to become impossible to find?
A new chapter has begun at the Parc des Princes. With the departures of Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappé, the entire "QSI Galactico" era comes to an end.
For 7 years, Paris had the two most expensive players in the world on the same pitch. We may not realize it yet, but it was a historic anomaly.
Now that the chapter is closed, a race against time has begun for collectors: to get their hands on the official player prints of these two legends before they disappear from the market.
1. The Kylian Mbappé Case: From #29 to #7
Kyky from Bondy became the club's all-time leading scorer. In terms of investment, there are two "schools" for Mbappé jerseys:
- The "Rookie" (No. 29): This is the Holy Grail. In his first season (2017-2018), Kylian wore the number 29. This jersey only existed for one year. It's a museum piece.

Say what you will about his injuries, but when Neymar played, time stood still. The PSG No. 10 jersey with Neymar's print will remain the symbol of the most expensive transfer of the century (€222M).
The most sought-after jerseys are often:
- The "Brazilian Yellow" (2017-2018): His first away jersey, yellow, a tribute to Brazil.
- The "Jordan" editions: Neymar was the main face of the collaboration. The PSG x Jordan jerseys worn by the Brazilian are highly valued for their lifestyle aspect.
3. Why invest now?
It's the law of supply and demand. PSG will never again produce jerseys with Mbappé or Neymar prints. This is exactly the same phenomenon that caused the value of Zidane's jerseys to skyrocket after his retirement.
However, global demand remains immense (Brazil, Asia, long-time fans). The more years pass, the harder it will be to find an official jersey (beware of fakes, consult our anti-counterfeiting guide) with the original printing intact.
