In December 2019, wearing this shirt, Dries Mertens became the all-time top scorer in SSC Napoli's history, breaking a record that had stood for decades. This 2019-2020 season ended on another high note: Napoli won the Coppa Italia against Juventus, a final played in June 2020 due to the pandemic-related delay.
👑 Dries Mertens — Belgian forward born in 1987, who joined Naples in 2013 from PSV Eindhoven, becoming one of the most iconic and beloved players in the club's recent history, earning the affectionate nickname “Ciro” from Neapolitan tifosi.
