Important note: the collar is marked “X LARGE”, but Kappa runs very small in this range. At 53 cm pit to pit, this shirt actually corresponds to a modern L, and that is how I sell it. Lay flat a shirt that fits you well, measure it the same way and compare — these two figures are more reliable than any label.

The shirt itself is spotless: deep azure blue, crisp jacquard pattern, Lete, MSC and Kimbo sponsors with no cracking at all, Insigne No.24 nameset like new. One point of transparency, and it does not concern the fabric: the inner composition label has been cut off by a previous owner (see photo 4). The Kappa collar label showing the size is still in place.

📖 2018-2019: Ancelotti in Naples, Insigne as captain
This shirt belongs to an ambitious season of transition. In the summer of 2018, Carlo Ancelotti succeeded Maurizio Sarri on the Napoli bench, and the club confirmed its status as Juventus' closest challenger in Serie A. On the pitch, a son of Naples wore the armband.
🏆 Second in Serie A. Napoli finished the season second in the Italian league behind Juventus. A consistency at the top that made this side the benchmark of the calcio outside Turin.
👑 Lorenzo Insigne, No.24. Born in Naples, developed at the club, captain: Insigne is one of the few modern players who fully embodies his city. His number 24 is one of the most requested namesets in Napoli's recent history.
🎨 The most recognisable Kappa design of the period. Azure blue with a jacquard pattern, contrasting white shoulders, triple sponsorship Lete / MSC / Kimbo: this shirt looks like nothing else from the decade, and that is exactly why people look for it.

Is the shirt 100% authentic?
Yes. Kappa Napoli 2018-2019 authentication carried out in my workshop: original Kappa collar label with the GARA marking (photo 3), correct Omini logos, raised SSC Napoli crest, period jacquard weave. Real photos of the exact item sold, lifetime authenticity guarantee.
Why does the collar say XL when you sell it as an L?
Because Kappa runs noticeably smaller than other manufacturers in this range. The actual measurements — 53 cm pit to pit, 75 cm in length — match a modern L. I prefer to state the real size rather than the label size, to save you a return.
What is the exact condition, and is there a flaw?
The shirt is in as-new condition: no holes, no stains, no cracking on the sponsors or the nameset. The only point to report is the inner composition label, cut off by a previous owner (photo 4). It affects neither the wear nor the authenticity.
What does “GARA” on the collar label mean?
“Gara” means “match” in Italian. It is the name of Kappa's technical line: a slimmer cut, lighter fabric and different finishing from the fan version, produced in much smaller quantities.
Why three different sponsors?
It is a Napoli speciality of that period: Lete (mineral water) as main sponsor, MSC (cruises) below the chest and Kimbo (Neapolitan coffee) on the back. Three Italian brands that anchor the shirt in its era and in its city.
