📖 2010-2011: Cavani's first Napoli season
Summer 2010: Edinson Cavani leaves Palermo to join Walter Mazzarri's Napoli. On this sky blue shirt, adorned with the historic Lete sponsor (a Neapolitan mineral water brand), he wears the N°7 during this first season in Partenopei colours — a season that remains one of the most memorable in the club's recent history.
👑 Edinson Cavani — Uruguayan striker born in 1987, he immediately established himself in Naples as one of Serie A's most prolific scorers, finishing the 2010-2011 season among the league's very top goalscorers. Carried by his goals, Napoli finished 3rd in Serie A and returned to the Champions League after a very long absence. Cavani would stay three seasons in Naples before his transfer to PSG in 2013, where he became the club's all-time top scorer.
