Shirt condition
New with tags
Never worn: the Adidas tags are still attached at the collar (photos 2 and 5). The red is deep and even, and the tonal geometric pattern in the fabric is crisp across the whole front. The black, white and red ribbed collar is neither stretched nor faded. The B.FERNANDES 8 print is flawless, with no cracking, and the Premier League logo under the number is intact.

New shirt, Adidas tags still attached (photo 5), along with the original shop label. It has never been worn or washed, and the captain's name and number were already applied.
The Wembley captain
In July 2023, Erik ten Hag handed the captain's armband to Bruno Fernandes. Signed from Sporting in January 2020, the Portuguese was already the team's playmaker and its most decisive player.
25 May 2024, FA Cup final at Wembley. Manchester United beat Manchester City 2-1, with goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. Bruno Fernandes lifted the trophy as captain.
A derby won against the champions. City had just won another Premier League title, and United stopped them completing a second straight double.
Bruno Fernandes' number 8 is the one he has worn since arriving at Old Trafford. This home shirt is the one from the trophy season.

Yes. The B.FERNANDES 8 print, with the Premier League logo under the number, was already applied when I acquired the shirt, and it has never been worn since. It is in perfect condition, with no cracking.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the inner label: the IP1726 reference and the 03/23 date should be sharp and consistent with the season. Then check the embroidered crest, which should be raised and clean, and the tonal pattern of the fabric, regular across the whole surface.
Has this shirt been worn?
No. The Adidas tags are still attached and it has never been washed. That is the most sought-after condition for a recent shirt.
How does this L fit?
True to size. 55 cm pit to pit and 78 cm long: a regular-fit Adidas L. If you wear L on the high street, it should fit you.
