The red is still vivid, the tonal hexagon pattern down the centre is crisp and the Chevrolet sponsor shows no cracking or peeling. The three white shoulder stripes are intact. Up close, there are a few tiny dark marks on the front, near the crest and under the sponsor (photos 6 and 7), and a tiny dot on the back next to the name (photo 8). From a metre away, they cannot be seen.

Zlatan at Old Trafford

In July 2016, Zlatan Ibrahimović left PSG on a free and joined José Mourinho's Manchester United. Aged 34, he took the number 9 and instantly became the team's attacking reference.

7 August 2016: in his first competitive game, he scores the winner in the Community Shield against Leicester (2-1).

26 February 2017: a brace in the League Cup final against Southampton, a 3-2 win at Wembley.

A serious knee injury against Anderlecht in April ends his season after 28 goals in all competitions. Without him, United win the Europa League on 24 May 2017 in Stockholm, 2-0 against Ajax.
