Flawless. The perforated dotted fabric is intact, with no snags or pulled threads — that is the weak point on this model, so I inspected it panel by panel. The gold Chevrolet sponsor shows no cracking, the gold crest is crisp (photo 3) and the POGBA No.6 nameset is immaculate (photo 5). No holes, no stains, no bobbling.

📖 2018-2019: Pogba as world champion at Old Trafford
This navy third shirt covers a distinctive season at Manchester United: the one where Paul Pogba came back from the Russia World Cup with a star on the France shirt, and where the club changed manager mid-season. A transitional shirt, worn by the most scrutinised player in England at that moment.
📅 15 July 2018 — world champion. Pogba scored in the World Cup final against Croatia and became a world champion with France. He began the 2018-2019 season with that status, and this is the shirt from that year.
📅 December 2018 — the change on the bench. José Mourinho left the club mid-season and Ole Gunnar Solskjær took over. Pogba returned to the heart of United's play in the second half of the season — one of the big football stories of that English winter.
📅 A shirt made from plastic recovered at sea. This third kit is part of the adidas x Parley shirts: the yarn comes from plastic intercepted on coastlines and beaches. The “FORTHEOCEANS” wording at the collar is the physical proof — one of the first big-club shirts produced that way.
👑 Paul Pogba — raised in Manchester United's academy, sold to Juventus, then brought back to Old Trafford in 2016 for what was at the time the most expensive transfer in football history. Yes. The original adidas label is photographed (photo 4) with product code DP6022 and the date 04/18, and the collar tape carries the FORTHEOCEANS wording specific to the adidas x Parley range. Embroidered gold crest, woven jacquard, official Premier League patch. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.
What does “FORTHEOCEANS” on the collar mean?
It is the marking used on adidas x Parley shirts, woven from yarn made of plastic recovered from marine environments. It is printed repeatedly on the inner collar tape and is an excellent authenticity marker for this generation of shirts.
Is the Pogba nameset official?
Yes: official Premier League font with the league's lion built in under the digit (visible in photo 5). The edges are perfectly bonded, with no lifting or cracking. A generic nameset never has that lion.
How does this adidas shirt fit in XXL?
Actual flat measurements: 66 cm pit to pit, 80 cm in length. The neck label reads 2XL. It is a straight, roomy cut, ideal for larger builds or for a deliberately oversized look. More benchmarks in my sizing guide.
