📐 Flat measurements

Width (pit to pit)51 cm
Length (shoulder to hem)74 cm

The single most important point on this shirt: the inner label reads XXL, but the 2006 Airness cut runs very small — in practice it fits like a modern L. Lay flat a shirt that fits you well, measure it the same way and compare: on vintage, it's the only reliable method.

Shirt condition

Like new

Remarkable for a shirt approaching twenty years old: no holes, no stains, no fading found during inspection. The red is still deep, the navy stitching is intact and the lettering shows no lifting (see real photos).

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Piece checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me is ever identified as a counterfeit, I refund it in full. Guarantee with no expiry date.

  • Airness LOSC authentication: original « Only Sport » inner label with product reference F3037 BIS and 91% polyester / 9% elastane composition (photo 4), embroidered Airness panther on the chest and right sleeve, period LOSC Lille Métropole crest embroidered on white (photo 3)
  • Official LFP patch stitched on the left sleeve and LFP holograms built into the number 36 (photo 5) — two details reproductions almost always get wrong
  • Real photos of the exact item for sale, never stock images
  • Full method: authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — The HAZARD No.36 lettering was applied in my workshop, using the official LFP typeface of the period and league holograms. No.36 is the number given to academy kids brought into the first-team squad — exactly Eden Hazard's status at LOSC at that moment.

📖 2006-2007: LOSC in the Champions League, a Belgian teenager in the academy

This shirt comes from modern LOSC's most European season. Under Claude Puel, Lille play the Champions League group stage and reach the last 16. While the first team takes on Europe's elite, a Belgian teenager who arrived from Tubize is training at the Lille academy. His name is already on everyone's lips at the club.

📅 2006-2007 — LOSC in the Champions League last 16. Lille get out of their group and face Manchester United in the round of 16. The run ends there, but the club establishes itself among Europe's regulars.

📅 2005 — Eden Hazard leaves Belgium for Lille. At 14 he joins the LOSC academy. That's where his entire training will take place, right up to the professional squad.

📅 November 2007 — the Ligue 1 debut. Hazard comes on for the first time with the LOSC first team, aged 16. The start of five seasons that will make him the club's biggest modern star.

📅 2011 — the historic double. French champion and Coupe de France winner with LOSC. Hazard is named Ligue 1 Player of the Year in 2011, then again in 2012 — a very rare individual double.

👑 Eden Hazard — trained at LOSC, revealed in Ligue 1, joined Chelsea in 2012 then Real Madrid in 2019. Belgium captain for years, third at the 2018 World Cup. Lille shirts from his academy period are rare: few were produced, and even fewer survived in good condition.

You lived through the 2006-2007 Champions League, the European nights and the 2011 double. This red long-sleeve Airness is the LOSC of before, the real foundation years.

The Hazard collector

Everyone has the Chelsea and Real shirts. The Lille shirt with No.36, the one of the academy kid, is a level above in a serious Hazard collection.

For someone from Lille or a Belgium fan, giving a 2006 piece in like-new condition, with exact measurements and a lifetime guarantee, is the level above.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just add « LOSC / Hazard » in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Why does the label say XXL when you list it as L?

Because I prefer to state the real size rather than the label size. This Airness generation runs very small: measured flat, this shirt is 51 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long, which matches a modern L. Compare with a shirt you already wear — it's the most reliable method.

Is the shirt 100% authentic?

Yes. Authentication carried out in my workshop: original Only Sport inner label with reference F3037 BIS (photo 4), embroidered Airness panther, period LOSC Lille Métropole crest, stitched LFP patch and LFP holograms on the number. Real photos of the exact item for sale, lifetime authenticity guarantee.

Why is there no sponsor on the front?

That's this shirt's original configuration: club crest on the right, Airness panther on the left, and a front that stays free of any shirt sponsor. That's exactly what gives this piece its clean look, highly sought after today for everyday wear.

What is the patch on the left sleeve?

It's the official LFP (French professional league) patch worn on Ligue 1 shirts of that period. The same LFP holograms are built into the number 36 on the back — a compliance detail found only on official league lettering.

What exactly does the 9.5/10 condition mean?

A shirt that is virtually new: no holes, no stains, no fading, no lifting of the lettering. The half point removed is purely down to the age of the piece, not to an identified flaw. Everything is visible on the photos, taken without retouching.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Sent within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 in mainland France, free from €100). International rates and delivery times on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
