The white has stayed clean, with no yellowing at the collar or cuffs, and the red panels have kept their colour. The navy topstitching that shapes the silhouette is intact, and the Airness panther and the crest are sharp. No flaws to report, and the printing is complete and lies flat.

M measurements, despite the XL on the tag: the Airness cut of that era is very close to the body. Lay flat a shirt that fits you well, measure it the same way and compare.

Inner Airness tag (photo 4): brand panther, size XL, product reference and polyester-elastane composition
Round LOSC Lille Métropole crest with the mastiff, the one the club used at the time (photo 3)
Airness panther on the chest, at the nape and on the sleeve
Cut and finish: visible navy topstitching on every panel, red cuffs, slightly stretchy knit
Workshop note — On Airness shirts from this period, I first look at the contrast topstitching: regular, flat and perfectly following each curved panel. It also explains the very narrow cut: the XL on the tag matches a modern M.
Eden Hazard, the early days of a prodigy in Lille
Trained at the LOSC academy after leaving Belgium as a teenager, Eden Hazard makes his Ligue 1 debut during the 2007-2008 season, aged just 16.
24 November 2007: Hazard comes off the bench against Nancy for his first professional game with Lille.
Over the following seasons, he becomes the centrepiece of Lille's play, with the number 26 on his back. He is named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010.
May 2011: Lille win the league and French Cup double, and Hazard is crowned Ligue 1 Player of the Year. He retains the award in 2012 before joining Chelsea.
Trust the measurements, not the tag. At 50 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long, it fits like a slim M. If you wear an L, it will be too tight.
Why is there no sponsor on the chest?
This is a supporter version sold without a printed sponsor. The crest and Airness logos are those of the 2007-2008 away shirt.
Is the LFP patch original?
No, the French professional league patch was added in my workshop. The shirt itself is an authentic Airness.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the inner panther tag and its composition, the period LOSC Lille Métropole crest and the regularity of the navy topstitching.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
