Liverpool 2019-2020 Third Shirt - Firmino No. 9 (S)

The black is deep with no fading, and the turquoise graphic pattern on the front is crisp. The Liver Bird crest, the New Balance logo and the Standard Chartered sponsor are intact. The FIRMINO 9 print lies perfectly flat. Only one thing to point out: slight wear on the Western Union sleeve sponsor and on the New Balance cuff logo (photo 5).

Firmino and the title season

In 2019-2020, Liverpool were reigning European champions and dominated England. Roberto Firmino, the false nine of the trio he formed with Salah and Mané, was the hub of Jürgen Klopp's game.

21 December 2019, Doha: in the Club World Cup final, Firmino scored the only goal of the game in extra time against Flamengo.

Halted by the pandemic in the spring, the season resumed in June. On 25 June 2020, Liverpool were crowned champions of England, thirty years after their previous title.

It was also New Balance's last season as the club's kit supplier: this black third shirt is one of the last kits of that era.
