The forest green is deep and the tone-on-tone topographic pattern stands out clearly across the whole shirt. The Standard Chartered sponsor and the bright red Liver bird show no wear at all, and the sleeve and collar trims are intact. The printing is complete and lies flat.

Embroidered Liver bird in bright red with L.F.C. lettering, dense relief and clean outlines (photo 3)
Topographic pattern woven into the knit, regular from seam to seam (photo 3)
Nike finishing: embroidered Swoosh, crew neck trimmed in red, 97 emblem embroidered under the back collar
Workshop note — I cross-check code DM1835-377 with the size and the FA22 season reference on the label: everything matches the 2022-2023 third shirt. The small 97 emblem under the collar, a tribute to the Hillsborough victims, is a detail I always check on recent Reds shirts.
Diogo Jota, the Reds' number 20
Signed from Wolverhampton in September 2020, Diogo Jota quickly became one of the most clinical forwards in Jürgen Klopp's side. The 2022-2023 season was tougher: a calf injury kept him out for several months and cost him the World Cup.
30 April 2023: at Anfield, Jota scores the stoppage-time winner in a 4-3 victory over Tottenham.
Two years later, he won the Premier League with Liverpool. He died on 3 July 2025, aged 28, in a road accident alongside his brother André Silva.
July 2025: Liverpool retire the number 20 in his memory.
That is how the player's name appeared on Liverpool shirts: his first name followed by the initial of his surname, as shown in photo 5.
What does the 97 emblem under the collar mean?
It is the club's tribute to the 97 victims of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster. It is embroidered in red on the back, just under the collar (photo 1).
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the inner label: code DM1835-377, size S and the FA22 reference. Then check the embroidered Liver bird and the pattern woven into the knit.
How does this S fit?
True to size. 48 cm pit to pit and 72 cm long: if you wear an S in high-street brands, it should fit you.
