Shirt condition
Excellent condition
The black and blue stripes are still sharp, the Pirelli sponsor is clean with no cracking, and the embroidered crest is intact. The ETO'O 9 print lies perfectly flat. Only one point to mention: one of the collar placket buttons is broken (photo 7). The original spare button, attached to the inside label, is still there (photo 6).

-
Nike inside label (photo 4): size XL, style code 419985-010, production code FA110307 and full barcode
-
Embroidered FCIM crest (photo 3): gold monogram on black and blue rings, embroidered star above, clean edges
-
Fabric: fine-ribbed Dri-FIT knit, breathable mesh lining across the upper back
-
Cut and finish: black polo collar with buttoned placket, red Milan cross below the nape, black set-in cuffs, spare button sewn onto the label
Workshop note — The little spare button on the label is a detail I always look for on buttoned-collar Nike shirts of this period: it leaves the factory with the shirt and very often disappears over the years. Finding it here, consistent with the 419985-010 code and the FA11 prefix, is a good sign of a piece that has seen little wear.
Eto'o, the number 9 of the treble
Samuel Eto'o joined Inter in summer 2009, in the deal that sent Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona. Under José Mourinho, he agreed to play out wide and defend for the team.
22 May 2010, Champions League final in Madrid. Inter beat Bayern Munich 2-0 and completed the treble of league, Italian Cup and Champions League, a first for an Italian club.
The following season, Eto'o was the team's most prolific striker and added the Club World Cup and another Italian Cup. He still played the August 2011 Supercoppa italiana in Beijing before joining Anzhi Makhachkala at the end of the month.
This 2011-2012 Nike home shirt, with long-time sponsor Pirelli, marks the end of that golden cycle.
Frequently asked questions
Does the broken button get in the way of wearing it?
No, the collar still closes with the other button. And since the original spare button is included (photo 6), a few minutes of alteration is enough to get a complete collar back.
Did Eto'o wear this shirt?
This 2011-2012 model is the last of his time at Inter: he left the club at the end of August 2011, at the very start of the season. The ETO'O 9 print refers to his two years in nerazzurri, crowned by the 2010 treble.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Read the inside label: code 419985-010, size XL, code FA110307 and barcode. Then look at the embroidery of the crest and star, and the polo collar with its buttoned placket.
How does this XL fit?
True to size: 61 cm pit to pit and 81 cm long. It will suit an XL, or an L who likes a loose fit.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipped within 24-48 h with tracking: €5.99 in France, €9.99 to the EU, and free from €99.99. You have 14 days to send the shirt back if it doesn't suit you. All the details in my shipping FAQ.
