Excellent condition, very close to new: no holes, no stains, no pilling, no fading found on inspection. The blue is still deep, the embroidered FFF cockerel is flawless, and the MATUIDI No.14 printing and both sleeve patches show no lifting (see real photos).

📖 Euro 2016: the summer France held its breath
A Euro hosted at home, a country behind its team, and a final at the Stade de France. This blue one-star shirt belongs to that summer — and Blaise Matuidi was one of the cornerstones of that midfield.
📅 7 July 2016 — France 2-0 Germany. In the semi-final in Marseille, France knocked out the reigning world champions thanks to a Griezmann double. One of the great French football nights of the 2010s.
📅 10 July 2016 — Portugal 1-0 France (a.e.t.). The final at the Stade de France, lost in extra time. A disappointment that fed into the 2018 World Cup triumph two years later — with Matuidi still a starter.
⭐ A single star. On this shirt the cockerel has one star: 1998. The second arrived in July 2018. "One-star" France shirts have become highly sought-after era markers.

Why does the cockerel have only one star?
Because this shirt predates the 2018 World Cup win. The single star is 1998: an instant era marker, impossible to find on a current France shirt.

It is the official UEFA EURO 2016 badge, for the European Championship hosted in France, paired with the RESPECT patch on the other sleeve. These badges were only worn during the tournament and its campaign.
