No flaws at all, on a shirt more than ten years old. The vertical blue and charcoal stripes are still perfectly contrasted — on this kind of weave, harsh washing blurs the tones first, and that has not happened here. The three red shoulder stripes are sharp, with no fading. The RIBÉRY 7 print is flawless, acute accent included, with red as vivid as day one. All four patches are perfectly bonded: the gold Club World Cup one on the chest, the “5” starball, the RESPECT band and the blue titleholder badge. Embroidered four-star crest intact, collar with no stretching, no pilling.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If an item bought from me is ever identified as a counterfeit, I refund it in full. Guarantee with no expiry date.

  • Inner label photographed (photo 4): adidas reference Z26143 and production date 10/13. October 2013, right in the middle of the 2013-2014 season: the two line up
  • The patch combination dates the shirt to the month: the gold Club World Cup patch was only worn after the December 2013 title, and the blue titleholder badge only during that season
  • The stripes are woven into the knit, not printed: they appear identically on the inside, with a slight texture difference between the tones. On a fake, the reverse is plain
  • The crest is embroidered with its four stars (photo 3): the blue and white Bavarian lozenges are in relief, and the stars are embroidered separately above the badge
  • Real photos of the exact item sold, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — Look just below the back collar in photo 1: the motto “Mia san mia” is printed there in small white handwritten letters. It is the Bavarian rallying cry — “we are who we are” — and adidas only placed it there on certain seasons. Zoom in on the base of the 7 in photo 5 as well: the Bayern crest is printed there in miniature, lozenges included. And check the acute accent on the “É” of RIBÉRY: redone prints almost always drop it.

📖 Ribéry at his peak, Guardiola in Munich

A striped blue third, a gold club world champions patch on the chest, and the number 7 of the previous year's best player in Europe: this shirt condenses the peak of the 2010s Bayern side.

🏆 Club World Champions, December 2013. That title is what put the gold patch on the chest of this shirt. It is only worn in the second half of the season.

📅 Pep Guardiola's first season. He arrived in the summer of 2013 and completed the Bundesliga-DFB Pokal double in his first year, wrapping up the league title as early as March.

🇫🇷 Ribéry, UEFA Best Player in Europe 2013. Voted Europe's best player after Bayern's treble, he also finished on the Ballon d'Or podium that year. This shirt comes right after.

🎨 A third Bayern has never revisited — vertical petrol blue and charcoal stripes with red shoulder stripes: a world away from the usual red and white, and one of the most sought-after shirts of the period.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

What do the different patches mean?

The gold patch on the chest celebrates the Club World Cup title of December 2013. The starball with the “5” marks the five European Cups won at the time. The round blue “2013” badge identifies the reigning European champion. And the RESPECT band accompanies all UEFA matches.

What does “Mia san mia” mean?

It is Bayern's motto in Bavarian dialect: “we are who we are”. It is printed below the back collar in small white handwritten letters. A detail copies systematically leave out.

How do you know it is really 2013-2014?

The label carries the adidas reference Z26143 and the date 10/13. The patch combination confirms it: the gold Club World Cup patch only exists from December 2013, and the titleholder badge disappears at the end of that season.

Is this shirt authentic?

Yes. Referenced and dated adidas label, stripes woven into the knit, embroidered four-star crest, “Mia san mia” at the collar, official UEFA and FIFA patches and printing with a miniature crest and the French accent. Lifetime authenticity guarantee, full refund if a doubt is ever proven.

How does this L fit?

Measured flat: 54 cm pit to pit and 75 cm long. A 2013 adidas L, more generous than current cuts. If you wear a M and like it loose, it will work for you too.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Shipped within 48 working hours with Colissimo tracking (€5.99 in mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed in my shipping FAQ. Returns accepted within 14 days if unworn.
