📖 2018-2019: Griezmann's last Spanish season
Summer 2018: fresh off winning the World Cup with France, Antoine Griezmann chose to stay at Atletico Madrid rather than join Barcelona, in a heavily followed media saga. Wearing this red and white shirt, Diego Simeone's Atletico kicked off the season in style, winning the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid (4-2) in Tallinn. It would turn out to be Griezmann's last season in Colchonero colours, before his transfer to Barcelona the following summer.
👑 Antoine Griezmann — born in 1991 in Mâcon, he joined Atletico in 2014 from Real Sociedad, becoming one of the club's most iconic forwards over five seasons. This N°7 shirt is a piece from his final Spanish campaign before his move to FC Barcelona.
