100% AUTHENTIC
✦ Lifetime authenticity guarantee
Piece checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me ever turned out not to be authentic, I refund it in full. No expiry date: only original pieces, never modern re-editions.
Nike label (photo 4): season code FA211104HIG, size S, reference CV7883-612 and barcode 194954546285
Atlético crest (photo 3): bear and strawberry tree, seven stars on a blue background, clean outlines and bold colours
Nike swoosh and Plus500 sponsor heat-applied, placed as on the shirts of the season
Fabric and finish: brushstroke pattern printed through the fabric, also visible on the inside, regular shoulder and collar seams
Workshop note — On a Nike label of this generation, the 612 suffix of the reference stands for the colourway, and the FA21 prefix for the autumn 2021 collection: both match the season. I also compare the barcode with the reference, they must point to the same item.
Suárez, the striker who won the title
In September 2020, Luis Suárez left FC Barcelona for Diego Simeone's Atlético. The gamble paid off in his very first season: 21 Liga goals and a Spanish league title.
22 May 2021: in Valladolid, on the final matchday, Suárez scored the winner in a 2-1 victory that handed Atlético the Liga.
This shirt is from the following season, 2021-2022, when the Colchoneros defended their title. They finished third and reached the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City.
It was also Suárez's last season in Madrid with the number 9, before his return to Uruguay.
No, the Champions League starball and the UEFA Foundation badge were applied in my workshop, at the same time as the printing. They are not used as proof of authenticity: the label, the crest and the fabric establish it.
What is the difference between the Stadium and player versions?
The Stadium version is Nike's supporter shirt: standard cut, thicker Dri-FIT fabric and sewn crest. The player version (Vapor) is slimmer, with heat-applied logos. This one is a Stadium, more comfortable for everyday wear.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look up the reference CV7883-612 printed on the inner label: it should lead to the Atlético 2021-2022 home shirt. The barcode on the same label must match the same item.
How does this S fit?
True to size: 47 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long. If you wear S on the high street, it should fit you.
