10/10

Shirt condition

As new (without tags)

Flawless, and that is remarkable on a white shirt from 2013. The white is still bright, with no greying or yellowing at the collar or underarms. The gold shoulder stripes have not cracked, the EL SHAARAWY No.92 printing is perfectly bonded, the UEFA patches and the 7-title badge are crisp. No holes, no stains, no pilling. It simply no longer has its cardboard tags.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Every piece is checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a shirt bought from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund it in full. No expiry date on that guarantee.

  • Original adidas inner label photographed (photo 4): reference Z27790 and production date 04/13 — April 2013, exactly the manufacturing window for the Milan 2013-2014 away shirt
  • Embroidered ACM crest with "1899" and topped by the gold star marking ten Scudetti: dense embroidery, cross and stripes perfectly crisp (photo 3)
  • "7" badge of honour on the sleeve: the UEFA distinction reserved for multiple European Cup winners. The 7 corresponds to Milan's seven European titles — a patch only a handful of clubs may wear
  • EL SHAARAWY No.92 printing in the club's official font, with miniature ACM crests built into the base of the digits (photo 5), and the Italian tricolore printed below the collar at the back
  • Real photos of the exact shirt for sale, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — The "7" badge is an excellent test: it is only applied to European shirts of multiple-winner clubs, and the number must match the actual honours at the time of the season. Seven for Milan in 2013: consistent. A shirt from a club with one or two titles carrying this badge would be immediately suspect.

📖 El Shaarawy, the Pharaoh of San Siro

White, gold stripes, red and black collar, tricolore at the nape: this away shirt is one of the most elegant Milan wore in the 2010s. And on the back, a number nobody else wears — 92, Stephan El Shaarawy's year of birth.

📅 2012-2013 season — the breakthrough. At 20, El Shaarawy scored 16 Serie A goals and became the sensation of Italian football. His haircut and his nickname, "Il Faraone" (the Pharaoh), a nod to his Egyptian roots, were everywhere in Italy.

📅 2013-2014 season — the one this shirt belongs to. A foot injury cost him most of the campaign. That is exactly what makes this printing markedly less common than the previous season's: far fewer were produced.

📅 March 2014 — Champions League round of 16 against Atlético Madrid. Milan went out. It would be their last Champions League appearance for many years — the UEFA patches on this shirt belong to that campaign.

👑 Why this shirt matters — it is the end of an era. Seven-time European champions Milan played their last great continental stage here before a long spell in the wilderness. A white shirt with gold stripes and the "7" badge: hard to be more symbolic.

01

The great-Milan nostalgic

"7" badge on the sleeve, gold star over the heart: this is Milan's last Champions League before a long absence. An end-of-era shirt.

02

The rare-number collector

92 is not a positional number: it is El Shaarawy's year of birth. Impossible to confuse with any other player.

03

The white-and-gold lover

Gold adidas stripes on white, red and black collar, tricolore at the nape: one of the finest away shirts in Italian football that decade.

04

Whoever wants spotless white

A white shirt from 2013 with no greying or yellowing is rare. Look at the photos: collar and underarms are spotless.

Not sure? My Mystery Box is a great alternative — just add "Milan" in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

What does the "7" badge on the sleeve mean?

It is the UEFA badge of honour, reserved for multiple European Cup winners. The number 7 corresponds to AC Milan's seven European titles. Only a few clubs in the world are entitled to wear it — which makes it a very reliable authenticity marker.

Is this Milan shirt authentic?

Yes. The adidas label photographed (photo 4) carries reference Z27790 and the date 04/13, consistent with the Milan 2013-2014 away shirt. Add the embroidered crest with its gold star, the correct UEFA and "7" patches, and the official printing with integrated crests. Guaranteed for life.

Why did El Shaarawy wear number 92?

Because it is his year of birth: Stephan El Shaarawy was born in 1992. A choice that became his signature, like his nickname "Il Faraone", the Pharaoh, referring to his Egyptian roots.

Has the white yellowed or greyed?

No, and that is this piece's strong point. On a white shirt from 2013, the collar and underarms are the two areas that betray age: here they are perfectly clean. No stains, no greying. Hence the 10/10 rating.

How does this S fit?

Small. Measured flat: 47 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long — this is an Italian S, cut close to the body. If you wear a modern S and like a little room, size up.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 within mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
