This shirt has a few pulled threads on the body, in the gold pinstripe area. They're visible in photo 6, close up and under hard light: at normal viewing distance you don't notice them. The knit isn't pierced anywhere. It's the only reason this isn't a 10/10.

The white is immaculate, with no grey cast and no underarm marks — the first thing I check on a light shirt, and there's nothing to report here. The fine gold stripes have kept all their shine, with no dulled areas. The polo collar holds straight, its three buttons are all present and the placket isn't stretched. The gold Fly Emirates sponsor is intact, with no cracking. Only flaw: the few pulled threads described above (photo 6).

📖 White and gold, the end of an era at San Siro
Everyone knows the red and black. This gold-striped white is Milan's other face, and it lands on a pivotal season in the club's history.
🏆 Italian Super Cup 2016. In December 2016 in Doha, Milan beat Juventus on penalties after a 1-1 draw. The club's first trophy since 2011.
🔚 The end of thirty-one Berlusconi years. In April 2017 the club changed hands after three decades. This shirt belongs to the last season of that era.
✈️ Deulofeu, six months on loan. The Catalan arrived from Everton in the January 2017 window and took the No.7. A short spell, which makes his nameset far rarer than those of the season's regulars.
🎨 Gold instead of red — adidas produced one of the club's most elegant away shirts here: all white, fine woven gold stripes, polo collar and matching three stripes. Nothing loud, everything in the material.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt
Is the nameset original?
No, and I'd rather be straight with you: the shirt is 100% authentic, but the DEULOFEU No.7 nameset is a premium reproduction that I applied by hand in my workshop, in the official font of the 2016-2017 season. That's an advantage: it's brand new, guaranteed not to crack or peel — and on a gold nameset, the most fragile kind of all, that matters.
And the Serie A and UEFA sleeve patches?
Same thing: I applied them in the workshop at the same time as the nameset. So they aren't period patches and they aren't proof of anything. What proves the shirt is authentic is the referenced label, the embroidered crest and the woven stripes — not what was added afterwards.
How do you know it's really 2016-2017?
The inner label carries the adidas reference AI6891 and the production date 03/16. March 2016 matches the run produced for the 2016-2017 season: the two pieces of information line up, and you can check the reference yourself.
Will the pulled threads get worse?
No, as long as you don't tug on them. They're loops of gold yarn that caught on something and lifted; the base knit isn't pierced. Wash at 30°C inside out, no fabric softener, and they'll stay exactly as they are. Whatever you do, don't cut them: ease one back in with a needle if it bothers you.
Why Deulofeu at Milan?
Gerard Deulofeu was loaned out by Everton in the January 2017 window and played the second half of the season wearing No.7. A brief spell, so a much less common nameset than those of players who were there all year.
How does this S fit?
Measured flat: 46 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long. It's an adidas S, narrow across the shoulders but with a good body length. If you wear a S and like a roomy fit, go one size up.
