10/10

Shirt condition

As-new condition

Flawless, nothing to report. The yellow is vivid and perfectly even, with no fading at the underarms and no signs of use, and the micro-perforated jacquard is intact across the whole surface. The royal blue IBRAHIMOVIĆ No.10 nameset is crisp, right down to the acute accent on the final C, with no cracking and no lifting corners. Embroidered SvFF crest with bright colours, EURO 2008 patch and UEFA Respect badge firmly stitched, navy V-neck with no stretching. Washed and inspected in my workshop, no odour.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If anything you buy from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund it in full. The guarantee never expires.

  • The number 10 is also printed on the chest (photos 2 and 4): that is the mandatory marking for national team shirts in UEFA competition, and a detail reproductions almost always omit
  • The EURO 2008 patch is stitched, in woven fabric (photos 1 and 2): the Austrian-Swiss tournament logo, with its red and green mountain shapes on a slightly domed white ground. It only exists on shirts from that competition
  • The SvFF crest is fully embroidered (photo 3): the three crowns, the yellow cross on blue and the SVENSKA FOTBOLLFÖRBUNDET lettering in dense thread, with a sharp blue outline and a clean reverse under the finger
  • The micro-perforated jacquard is woven into the fabric (photos 4 and 6): fine lines of holes run through the yellow, visible against the light. Copies use a smooth, uniform knit
  • Original Umbro labels photographed (photo 5): care instructions in six languages, the 78/46 — Made in China marking and internal code 1069, with the size L tab sewn underneath
  • Real photos of the exact shirt you receive, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — The decisive check on this model is the nameset. Look at photo 6: the name carries an acute accent on the final C — IBRAHIMOVIĆ, not IBRAHIMOVIC. That is the official spelling used by the Swedish federation, and nine copies out of ten miss it. Second point: the chest 10. On national team shirts the number is printed on the front, to the left of the collar; on reproductions sold as « fan versions » it is never there. The two details together settle it.

📖 Zlatan and the Austrian Euro

This yellow Umbro shirt is Sweden's at Euro 2008, played in Austria and Switzerland. Zlatan Ibrahimović, then at Inter Milan, wore the 10.

⚽ The goal against Greece. On 10 June 2008 in Salzburg, Ibrahimović opened the scoring against reigning European champions Greece. Sweden won 2-0 in their opening match.

🇸🇪 A generation's number 10. Ibrahimović remains Sweden's all-time top scorer, with 62 goals in 122 caps.

👑 Three crowns. On the chest, the SvFF crest carries the three crowns, emblem of the Kingdom of Sweden since the 14th century.

🎨 Yellow and royal blue — Umbro kept Sweden's historic combination: a clean yellow, a navy V-neck and navy shoulder panels, and royal blue printing. All of it in a very light micro-perforated jacquard, typical of 2008 tournament shirts.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Swipe →

01

The Zlatan fan

The Swedish 10 with the official acute accent, on a major tournament shirt. Hard to get more emblematic.

02

The Euro collector

Stitched EURO 2008 patch and the mandatory chest number: the exact tournament configuration, not a retail version.

03

The Umbro lover

Micro-perforated jacquard, navy V-neck, generous cut: Umbro's craft at its peak.

04

The one who wears L

56 x 77 cm: a 2008 L, roomy and long. If you wear M and like it oversized, it will work too.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just add « Sweden » in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is this shirt really as-new?

Yes. No cracking on the nameset, no pilling, no fading at the underarms, no collar stretch and perfectly stitched patches. It is a 10/10: I only give that mark when I find nothing at all to report after a full workshop inspection.

Why is there a 10 on the chest?

Because UEFA regulations require national team shirts in competition to carry a number on the front as well as on the back. It is an excellent authenticity marker: copies almost always forget it.

Is the IBRAHIMOVIĆ nameset original?

Yes, it is the official tournament nameset, in royal blue, with the acute accent on the final C — the exact spelling used by the Swedish federation (photo 6). It is perfectly bonded, with no cracking.

Is this shirt authentic?

Yes. Stitched woven EURO 2008 patch, fully embroidered SvFF crest, regulation chest number, micro-perforated jacquard woven into the fabric and original Umbro labels. Authenticity guaranteed for life.

How does this L fit?

Measured flat: 56 cm pit to pit and 77 cm long. A 2008 Umbro L, so generous both across and in length. If you like it loose it is perfect; if you prefer a fitted look, go for the M.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 in mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
