The blue is bright and even, the Samsung sponsor is complete with no cracking, and the zipped collar works perfectly. The LAMPARD 8 lettering is smooth and sharp. The only thing to note: a few tiny pills on the mesh panel at the front, barely visible to the naked eye (photo 6). Nothing you will notice once the shirt is worn.

100% AUTHENTIC
✦ Lifetime authenticity guarantee
Hand-checked in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me ever turned out not to be authentic, I refund it in full. No expiry: only original pieces, never modern re-editions.
Inner adidas label: style code E84291, production date 02/09 and factory code APU002, printed on the satin tag next to the care label (photo 4)
Chelsea Football Club crest: lion holding its staff, roses and footballs on the gold ring, even yellow outline (photo 3)
Climacool knit: open mesh with small holes on the shoulders and upper chest, denser solid band across the sponsor (photos 2 and 3)
Finishing: collar zip with CHELSEA FC on the puller, white embroidered adidas logo, topstitched seams around the mesh panel (photo 3)
Workshop note — Code E84291 matches the Chelsea 2009-2010 home shirt, and the 02/09 date places its production in early 2009, a few months before launch. The name, number and sleeve patches were applied in my workshop: I never use them as proof, my expertise covers the shirt itself.
Lampard and the 2010 Double
In his first season at Chelsea, Carlo Ancelotti built the most prolific attack the Premier League had seen at the time. Frank Lampard, a midfielder, scored 22 league goals, a striker's tally for a player in his position.
9 May 2010: Chelsea thrash Wigan 8-0 on the final day to clinch the title, with 103 league goals, a record at the time.
15 May 2010: a 1-0 win over Portsmouth in the FA Cup final at Wembley. The club completes the first league and cup Double in its history.
Lampard's number 8 was inseparable from the club by then: he wore it until he left in 2014, becoming Chelsea's all-time top scorer along the way.
It is the signature of this 2009-2010 design: a stand-up collar closed by a short zip, with CHELSEA FC on the puller. You can wear it closed, funnel-neck style, or half open.
Are the pills noticeable?
Barely. They are tiny pulled threads on the front mesh panel, photographed up close for full transparency (photo 6). From a distance and once worn, the shirt looks like new.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the inner label: code E84291 and the 02/09 date should be there. You can type the code into a search engine to check the model yourself. The crest should show a crisp lion and well-defined roses.
How does this S fit?
Slightly roomy: 50 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long. If you wear S on the high street, it will fit with a little room; a slim M can also fit in it.
