The blue is deep, the « MADRID » graffiti pattern has lost none of its contrast, the Emirates Fly Better sponsor is intact and the BENZEMA No.9 printing is perfectly smooth. The orange collar and shoulder trims are flawless, both sleeve patches perfectly in place. No holes, no stains, no pilling found during inspection.

📖 2021-2022: the Benzema year, the shirt from before the 14th
Some seasons a player literally carries his team. 2021-2022 belongs to Karim Benzema: at 34, Real Madrid's No.9 strung together unreal European nights and drove his club to a 14th continental title. This blue away shirt, covered in a graffiti pattern spelling out « MADRID », is the shirt of that year.
⚽ 9 March 2022 — Real Madrid 3-1 PSG. A Benzema hat-trick in seventeen minutes turned the tie around. The night that launched the legend of his season.
🏆 28 May 2022 — Real Madrid 1-0 Liverpool. Champions League final at the Stade de France: Real claimed their 14th European crown. Benzema finished as the competition's top scorer.
🔟 The badge reads « 13 », not « 14 ». That is what makes this piece interesting: the shirt was produced before the May 2022 final, so it still shows thirteen titles. A dating marker that cannot be faked.

Why is the label hard to read in photo 4?
Because the inner label on this adidas run is printed in very low contrast on light fabric: it is hard to capture on camera. I would rather show you the photo as it is than retouch it. Authentication here rests on the product reference, the crest and the patches.
Why does the badge say 13 and not 14?
Because the shirt was produced before the May 2022 final. The Badge of Honour counter is only updated for the following collection. That is precisely what identifies a 2021-2022 shirt rather than the next season's.
How does this M fit?
