Real Madrid 2011-2012 Home Shirt - No.21 (M)

⚠️ Read this before you buy

One thing to know: slight wear on the gold No.21 (photo 6). Two tiny pale chips in the material, pinhead-sized, visible only in raking light from a few centimetres away. The number is complete, perfectly bonded, and is not lifting. Nothing else on the shirt.

📐 Flat measurements

Lay flat a shirt that already fits you well, measure it the same way and compare — vintage sizing is often very different from new.

Excellent condition for a 2011 shirt, worn as a youth and barely used. The white is still clean, with no yellowing at the collar or underarms. The three gold shoulder stripes are bright and intact, as are the gold trims on the polo collar and cuffs. The embroidered Real crest is sharp, crown and blue threads included, the black bwin chest print is smooth and the sleeve LFP patch has kept its colours. The gold 21 is complete, with its two mini-crests built into the foot of the digits. Polo collar with no stretching, mesh panels intact under the arms. Washed and inspected in my workshop, no odour.

• Original adidas label photographed (photo 4): production date 11/11 (November 2011), article code V13659 and internal code AY1001. The date sits exactly in the middle of the 2011-2012 season
• The inner collar taping repeats REAL MADRID in gold (photo 2), woven lettering rather than printed. That is an original finish copies replace with plain white tape
• The mini-crests are built into the foot of the digits (photo 5): two small Real crowns printed into the gold mass, not applied on top. That is the season's official Liga nameset
• The crest is embroidered in relief (photo 3): gold crown, red pearls and blue MCF monogram in dense thread, with a sharp outline and a clean reverse under the finger
• The shoulder stripes have an uneven metallic finish (photo 2), typical of adidas gold in 2011-2012: the light catches in patches. Reproductions use a flat, matt mustard yellow

📖 The 100-point Liga

2011-2012, José Mourinho's second season in Madrid. Real ended three years of dominance by Guardiola's Barça with a record-breaking campaign.

🏆 100 points, a record. Real were crowned champions of Spain in 2011-2012 with 100 points, a first in Liga history, and 121 goals scored.

👑 White and gold. That season adidas dressed the home shirt in gold: shoulder stripes, collar and cuff trims, and even the numbers on the back.

🔢 The 21 with no name. This shirt carries the number alone, with no name above it. The 21 was assigned that season to José Callejón.

🎨 The gold polo collar — adidas fitted a waffle-knit polo collar edged with a gold trim, two buttons and REAL MADRID taping repeated inside. It is one of the most elegant white shirts of the decade.
