Shirt condition
Excellent condition
The black is still deep, with no washing out, and the turquoise details on the sides and sleeves are bright. The embroidered crest and adidas logo are intact, and the BALE 11 printing and badges lie perfectly flat. Only sign of use: the surface of the Fly Emirates sponsor has taken on a slight grain, visible up close (photos 6 and 7).

✦ Lifetime authenticity guarantee
Checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me ever turned out not to be authentic, I refund it in full. No expiry: only original pieces, never modern reissues.
- Inner label: date 02/17, model code BR3543 and factory code AV1006, even printing (photo 4)
- Embroidered crest: crown and MCF monogram in turquoise thread, dense and fine embroidery (photo 3)
- adidas logo: embroidered in turquoise, printed Climacool neck label, Made in Vietnam (photo 3)
- Cut and finish: crew neck with turquoise trim, V insert under the collar, turquoise and black stripes on the sides, small woven tag bottom left
Note from the Workshop — On this model, the crest is not in full colour but entirely embroidered in turquoise: I check the fineness of the monogram letters and the regularity of the crown. Code BR3543 does match the 2017-2018 away supporter version.
Bale and the night in Kyiv
Real Madrid began the 2017-2018 season as two-time reigning European champions. In December 2017 they won the Club World Cup against Grêmio, hence the golden FIFA World Champions badge then worn on the chest.
Gareth Bale, signed from Tottenham in 2013, wore the number 11. Often hampered by injuries that season, he started the Champions League final on the bench.
26 May 2018: in Kyiv, Bale came on around the hour mark against Liverpool and scored three minutes later with a bicycle kick, then added a second goal from distance. Real won 3-1.
It was the club’s thirteenth European Cup and third in a row, a feat unseen since Bayern Munich in the 1970s.
Frequently asked questions
What do the sleeve badges mean?
The « 12 » badge shows Real’s number of European Cups before the season, the 2017 badge marks the title holder, and RESPECT is the UEFA campaign worn in the Champions League.
Is the grain on the sponsor a problem?
No, it is only visible up close and the logo stays sharp when worn. Wash the shirt inside out at 30 °C, with no tumble dryer and no iron on the print, to keep it in this condition.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
The inner label carries code BR3543, that of this away shirt, with a consistent 02/17 date. Then look at the turquoise embroidery of the crest and the adidas logo.
How does this S fit?
It measures 46 cm pit to pit and 70 cm in length. The fit is slim: if you like a slightly looser fit, look at an M instead.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipped within 24-48 h with tracking: €5.99 in France, €9.99 to the EU, free from €99.99. You have 14 days to send the shirt back if it doesn’t suit you. All the details in my shipping FAQ.
