📖 2016-2017: Thiago Silva's PSG, between dominance and the Remontada
This red away shirt carries the Ligue 1 2016 Champion patch, won the previous season under the armband of Thiago Silva, PSG's emblematic captain from 2014 to 2020. The 2016-2017 season would nonetheless be remembered for a very different event.
📅 14 February 2017 — PSG 4-0 Barcelona. At the Parc des Princes, in the Champions League round-of-16 first leg, PSG crush Barça and appear on course for the quarter-finals.
📅 8 March 2017 — Barcelona 6-1 PSG. At the Camp Nou, Barça pull off one of the most stunning comebacks in the competition's history (“the Remontada”), eliminating a PSG side that had looked untouchable in the first leg.
