⚠️ Read this before buying

The inner neck label was cut out by a previous owner. There is therefore no readable product reference and no production date on this shirt, and I am not going to invent one. What remains is the composition label stitched into the side seam, with the Nike swoosh, visible in photo 5 but only partly legible.

It is an ordinary thing to do — thousands of people cut out the label that scratches their neck — but you should know. My authentication here rests on the construction, the embroidery and the nameset, all detailed below. It also explains the price: the same shirt with an intact label sells for more.

📐 Flat measurements

Width (pit to pit) 55 cm
Length (shoulder to hem) 75 cm

A straight, comfortable L without being oversized. Lay flat a shirt that fits you well, measure it the same way and compare — note that on a long-sleeve, sleeve length matters as much as width: message me and I'll measure it for you.

Condition

Perfect

Infrared red is the hardest colour to preserve: it turns pinkish-orange as soon as a shirt has been through the machine too often. Here it is perfectly saturated, identical on the body and the sleeves — a sign it was washed properly, or barely worn. The black nameset has no cracking or lifting corners. The sleeve cuffs keep their elasticity, the black-trimmed V-neck is not stretched. Only reservation: the cut neck label flagged at the top — but that is a traceability point, not a condition defect.

Size L — derived from the flat measurements, the size label having been cut out
Brand Jordan (Nike)
Season 2019-2020 — French champions, Champions League runners-up
Version Infrared red away, long sleeve
Sponsors ALL Accor Live Limitless (chest), Ooredoo (back)
Nameset ICARDI No.18, digits filled with an "ICI C'EST PARIS" pattern, integrated LFP patches — already on the shirt when I acquired it, not a workshop application
Patches None on the sleeves
Production date Not readable — inner label cut out, I'd rather invent nothing

Unsure about sizing? This L measures 55 x 75 cm: compare the flat measurements above, or read my sizing guide.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Lifetime authenticity guarantee

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If anything you buy from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund in full. No expiry date.

With no neck label, authentication runs through the garment itself. Here are the four points I checked:

  • The LFP patches are built into the nameset digits, at the foot of the 1 and the 8 (photo 3). This detail only exists on official Ligue 1 namesets: it is printed in the same pass as the digit, not added afterwards. Copies omit it or stick it alongside
  • The repeated "ICI C'EST PARIS" pattern inside the digits reads as full letters up close, with a fine red outline separating the black from the background. That is the 2019-2020 nameset, and it is expensive to reproduce properly
  • The PSG crest is embroidered, not printed: sharp relief, Eiffel Tower and fleur-de-lys picked out in red thread on black. Run a finger over it and you feel the thread (photo 4)
  • The Jumpman is printed in matte black on the red, with fingers and ball clearly separated. On fakes the silhouette is thickened and the outstretched arm merges into the body

🛠️ Workshop note — A cut label is not a red flag in itself, and I want to be clear about that. The question is where and how it was cut. A comfort cut is clean, done with scissors flush to the seam, and leaves the rest of the shirt untouched — which is the case here. A concealment cut is ragged, tears the knit around it, and usually comes with other missing labels or a suspicious wash. On this shirt the side composition label is still in place with its swoosh, and nothing else has been touched. I'll add that the nameset was already on the shirt when I acquired it: I applied nothing.

📖 The red Paris wore for one season only

A PSG in bright red from head to toe, with a Jumpman on the chest instead of a swoosh. The partnership between the club and Michael Jordan's brand produced some of the most sought-after shirts of the decade, and this is one of them.

🏆 French champions 2019-2020. A season halted in April by the pandemic, with PSG crowned on the standings at the point of the stoppage.

🥈 Champions League runners-up. In August 2020 in Lisbon, PSG reached the first European final in their history and lost it 1-0 to Bayern. The beginning of a long wait.

🇦🇷 Mauro Icardi, No.18. Loaned from Inter Milan in September 2019, the Argentine scored freely from his first weeks in Paris and convinced the club to trigger the buy option. His spell was short — which makes his nameset rare.

👕 A long-sleeve version — long-sleeve shirts are produced in far smaller quantities than short-sleeve, and therefore vanish faster from the second-hand market.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Scroll →

01

The Jordan x PSG collector

Infrared red, in long sleeve: the hardest combination to find.

02

The 2020 season hunter

League title and a first European final: a pivotal season.

03

The rare-nameset chaser

Icardi only spent two seasons in Paris. His 18 is not a common sight.

04

The value hunter

The cut label brings the price down. The shirt itself is immaculate.

Not sure? My Mystery Box is a great alternative — just write "PSG" in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions

The label is cut out — how can you tell it's authentic?

Through the garment itself, as detailed above. The four decisive points are the LFP patches built into the digits, the "ICI C'EST PARIS" pattern inside the nameset, the raised embroidered crest and the correctly cut Jumpman. None of these four is reproduced properly on fakes, and it would take all four to fool me. My lifetime guarantee applies in full to this shirt.

So why was the label cut out?

Because it scratched the neck, in the overwhelming majority of cases. Nike neck labels from this generation are stiff and many people cut them off after the first wear. The cut here is clean and flush to the seam, with no torn knit around it — the profile of a comfort cut, not a concealment.

How are you sure of the size without a label?

Not through the label — through the tape measure. 55 cm pit to pit and 75 cm long match a Nike L from this period. That is why I insist on flat measurements rather than the letter: measurements don't lie. Compare them with a shirt you already wear.

Is the Icardi nameset original?

It was already on the shirt when I acquired it — I applied nothing. It is a 2019-2020 Ligue 1 nameset, with LFP patches built into the digits and the "ICI C'EST PARIS" pattern. That said, I never present a nameset as proof of authenticity: the construction and the embroidery are what count.

Why are long-sleeve shirts rarer?

Because clubs order far fewer of them: the long-sleeve version is a small fraction of retail production, aimed at cold markets and players who ask for it. As a result it disappears faster from the second-hand market and generally trades higher for the same model.

What about shipping cost and delivery time?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 within mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed in my shipping FAQ. Returns accepted within 14 days if unworn.
