Excellent condition for a ten-year-old white shirt: no yellowing at the collar or underarms, no holes, no stains, no bobbling. The red polka-dot trims and the blue band are still vivid, the embroidered OL crest is immaculate (photo 3) and the Hyundai print is crisp. The one point I want to flag: light surface wear on the vinyl of the nameset, visible only very close up in photo 5. The nameset is holding perfectly, with no lifting at the edges — it is the light patina typical of Ligue 1 vinyls from this era.

📖 2015-2016: Umtiti's last season in Lyon
Some shirts are worth it for the story they tell. This is Samuel Umtiti's last one at Olympique Lyonnais: a defender raised at the club, about to leave for Catalonia and become a world champion two years later.
📅 January 2016 — OL leave Gerland. Mid-season, the club moved into its new stadium. This shirt was therefore worn in both grounds: the end of the Gerland era and the very first months of the new stadium. A pivotal season in the club's history.
📅 May 2016 — OL on the Ligue 1 podium. Lyon finished the season on the league podium, behind an untouchable PSG. It was also the last year of that home-grown defensive core before the summer departures.
📅 Summer 2016 — off to FC Barcelona. Umtiti left OL for Barcelona after Euro 2016. A Lyon shirt printed with his name can therefore only come from his academy and breakthrough years — a window that closed almost ten years ago.

Is the shirt 100% authentic?
Yes. The original adidas label is photographed (photo 4) with product code S11833 and the date 07/15. Raised embroidered OL crest, “Nous sommes l'Olympique Lyonnais” at the collar, nameset in the official Ligue 1 font with LFP boxes. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.
What exactly is the flaw?
Light surface wear on the vinyl of the player nameset, visible only very close up (photo 5, shot in macro). The nameset is not lifting and the edges are intact. It is the only point noted: the fabric, the white, the crest and the sponsor are all immaculate.
What are the small boxes under the digits?
They are the LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel) boxes, built into the official Ligue 1 nameset of this period. A generic nameset bought online never has them: it is the first detail I check on a French league shirt.
How does this adidas shirt fit in size L?
Actual flat measurements: 55 cm pit to pit, 76 cm in length. It is a classic 2010s L, neither slim nor oversized. Compare with a shirt you already wear — more benchmarks in my sizing guide.
