The navy is deep and even, with no sheen at the shoulders; the red waves along the bottom are crisp, with no cracking or bleeding; the white side stripes have not yellowed. 📖 Fekir, 2017-2018: the peak
If you had to keep just one Nabil Fekir season at Olympique Lyonnais, it would be this one. Captain, number 18, his club's top scorer: 2017-2018 is the year the academy-raised Lyonnais played at the level of the very best in the league.
📅 2017-2018 season — 18 Ligue 1 goals. Fekir carried Lyon onto the podium and into the league's top three scorers. A leader's season, armband on.
📅 June 2018 — the collapsed transfer. His move to Liverpool was announced, the medical took place… then everything stopped. Fekir stayed at Lyon another season. One of the most talked-about sagas in recent French transfer history.
📅 15 July 2018 — world champion. Straight after this season, Fekir lifted the World Cup with France in Moscow. This shirt is from the season that took him there.

From the inner label: it carries the adidas reference BS2837 and the production date 12/17. A December 2017 build corresponds to a mid-season restock for 2017-2018. It is the most reliable dating method that exists on a modern shirt.

UEFA's starball on one side, the RESPECT band on the other: that is the European-match configuration, what the shirt wears on European nights. In the domestic league those spots stay empty.
