📖 2020-2021: Lyon's 70th anniversary and the Brazilian No.10
This shirt carries a crest that existed for one season only: the Olympique Lyonnais badge topped with the « 1950-2020 » banner, celebrating the club's 70 years. On the back, the No.10 of Lucas Paquetá, the Brazilian midfielder who relaunched his career in Lyon.
🎂 1950-2020: seventy years. The embroidered anniversary crest with its gold trim was produced only for that season. It is the clearest dating marker on this piece, and one of the most sought-after crests among Lyon collectors.
🇧🇷 Paquetá's revival. Signed from AC Milan in September 2020 after a difficult spell in Italy, he found his best form at Lyon, where he was given the No.10. Two seasons later he joined West Ham in the Premier League.
⚽ A top-of-the-table season. Lyon challenged for the title into the final third of the campaign and finished in the top four of Ligue 1, driven by one of the season's best attacks.
👑 Lucas Paquetá — born in Rio de Janeiro in 1997, developed at Flamengo, Brazil international. His two Lyon seasons (2020-2022) are when he established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in Ligue 1 before his move to England.
