100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Piece checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me is ever identified as a counterfeit, I refund it in full. Guarantee with no expiry date.

  • Nike product code DX9822-568 readable on the inner label (photo 4), with batch FA230205SYG and barcode 196606259956. This code is independently verifiable and matches the Liverpool 2023-2024 third.
  • UEFA Europa League and UEFA Foundation for Children patches stitched on the left sleeve (photos 1 and 2): the exact configuration worn in European competition that season, distinct from the league version
  • Official LFC European lettering with liverbirds built into the number 20 (photo 5), embroidered Liverbird with the L.F.C. wording (photo 3), 97 memorial between the two flames at the back of the collar
  • Full method: authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — The « DIOGO J. » No.20 lettering follows exactly the club's European layout: first name followed by the surname initial, in the European font with liverbirds inside the digits. It's the version few people think to ask for, and the one that dates the shirt almost to the match.

📖 2023-2024: Anfield's European Thursday nights

This purple third belongs to the Europa League nights, a competition Liverpool returned to that season. The UEFA patches on the sleeve and the European lettering on the back leave no doubt: this shirt belongs to the 2023-2024 continental run, Jürgen Klopp's final European campaign in charge.

📅 2023-2024 — Liverpool in the Europa League. The Reds play the competition in this third kit with its specific UEFA configuration: Europa League and UEFA Foundation for Children patches, European lettering instead of the Premier League format.

📅 January 2024 — Klopp announces he is leaving. After nine seasons, a Champions League and a Premier League title, the German announces he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

📅 25 February 2024 — the League Cup at Wembley. Liverpool beat Chelsea 1-0 after extra time to win the EFL Cup, the final trophy of the Klopp era.

📅 The 97 in the collar. Framed by the two memorial flames, it recalls the 97 supporters who died at Hillsborough. At Liverpool, that detail counts more than any logo.

👑 Diogo Jota — Portuguese forward signed from Wolverhampton in 2020, five seasons at Anfield, known for his finishing and his pressing. He passed away in July 2025 and remains a deeply loved figure among Liverpool supporters, who still sing his name at every match.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Swipe →

01

The Jota supporter

A shirt printed with his name, in the European version, in perfect condition. For many Reds, it is above all a way of keeping a trace of those years.

02

The version purist

UEFA patches, European lettering: this is not the league version. To a collector, that difference changes everything.

03

The third-kit lover

The 2023 camouflage purple is one of Liverpool's most striking thirds, and it works very well for everyday wear, far from the classic red.

04

The gift that lands

10/10 condition, verifiable product code, exact measurements: giving this piece means giving something checked rather than just a shirt.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just add « Liverpool » in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is the shirt 100% authentic?

Yes. The Nike product code DX9822-568 is readable on the inner label (photo 4) and independently verifiable. Add to that the stitched UEFA patches, the official European lettering with liverbirds inside the digits, the embroidered Liverbird and the 97 memorial in the collar. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.

How is it different from the Premier League version?

Two major differences. The sleeves: here the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Foundation for Children patches, instead of the Premier League and No Room For Racism patches. And the lettering: the club's European font with liverbirds inside the digits, instead of the Premier League format with the crowned lion. This is the European match version.

Why does the lettering read « DIOGO J. » and not « JOTA »?

Because that is the official layout the club registered for this player: first name followed by the surname initial. It is exactly what appeared on the match shirts, and a detail reproductions rarely bother to respect.

What does the 97 in the collar mean?

It is the Hillsborough memorial: 97 Liverpool supporters lost their lives as a result of the 1989 disaster. The figure, framed by two flames, appears at the back of the collar on every official club shirt.

How does this Nike shirt fit in S?

In a fitted way: 49 cm pit to pit and 73 cm long, so a modern S worn close to the body with a fairly long cut. For a roomy or streetwear fit, go one size up.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Sent within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 in mainland France, free from €100). International rates and delivery times on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
