Shirt condition
Flawless condition
I found no flaw on this piece, more than twenty years old. The white is still bright with no yellowing, the black stripes are deep, the Fastweb sponsor is crisp without the slightest crack and the embroidered crest is intact. The DAVIDS 26 print lies perfectly flat.

-
Nike inside label (photo 4): style code 114321 and production code S40812CRT, crisply printed, with the multilingual care label sewn at the same spot
-
Embroidered oval crest (photo 3): gold rim, crown and Turin bull embroidered, two gold stars above
-
Fabric: smooth Dri-FIT knit on the stripes, perforated mesh panels on the sides and lower back
-
Cut and finish: Nike swoosh embroidered in gold thread, black crew neck, white cuffs, the white lower body typical of this season
Workshop note — On this model, I look at the Nike swoosh first: it is embroidered in gold thread, not printed, just like the crest. The white lower band, sewn where the stripes end, is another marker: it must hang straight, with no offset in the stripes from one side to the other. Here, everything lines up.
Davids, the pitbull of the bianconeri midfield
Edgar Davids joined Juventus from AC Milan in December 1997. With his protective glasses and relentless pressing, he became the engine of the Turin midfield for six seasons.
Three Scudetti in Italy. Davids won the league with Juventus in 1998, 2002 and 2003, and played in two Champions League finals in the bianconeri shirt, in 1998 and 2003.
The 2003-2004 season opened with a Supercoppa italiana won against Milan on penalties, in the United States. In January 2004, Davids was loaned to FC Barcelona: this shirt is therefore the last one he wore with Juventus.
Black and white stripes, white lower body, Fastweb sponsor and gold swoosh: a Nike model that has become a cult piece among collectors.
Frequently asked questions
Why number 26?
It is the number Davids wore for most of his time at Juventus. Bianconeri fans still associate it with him.
Has the white yellowed over time?
No. The white stripes and the lower band are still bright, which is rare for a shirt of this age. Wash it at 30 °C, inside out, to keep them that way.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Read the inside label: code 114321 and code S40812CRT. Then look at the gold-thread Nike swoosh, the embroidered crest and how the stripes line up at the white band.
How does this XL fit?
Generous: 62 cm pit to pit and 81 cm long. It will suit an XL, or an L who likes loose cuts.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
