One thing to know, and it is photographed: a tiny dark mark in the red of the Lete sponsor (photo 6). Two millimetres, invisible at normal distance — but I would rather you saw it before ordering than when you open the parcel.

📐 Flat measurements

Lay flat a shirt that fits you well, measure it the same way and compare. This S runs small even for an S: the collar label actually reads “US XS”.

The azzurro is deep and even, with no shiny patches and no underarm halos — rare on a fourteen-year-old shirt. The gold shoulder panels have not dulled, the blue and white polo collar holds its shape, and the white sleeve trims are crisp. The yellow CAVANI No.7 nameset is intact, and the Champions League starball and RESPECT band on the sleeves are flawless. Gold-ringed embroidered crest perfect, all labels present. Only reservation: the small mark on the sponsor (photo 6).

📖 Naples back in Europe, and the Cavani year

Twenty years after Maradona, the San Paolo gets its Champions League nights back. And it has a striker scoring every three days.

🏟️ 2011-2012 — the first UCL since the Maradona era. Naples come through a group with Manchester City and Bayern Munich, then fall in the last 16 to Chelsea after winning the first leg 3-1.

🏆 The Coppa Italia at the end. In May 2012 Naples beat Juventus 2-0 in the final and lift their first trophy in twenty-two years. Cavani scores.

🇺🇾 El Matador at his peak. The Uruguayan strings together three thirty-goal seasons in Naples before leaving for PSG in 2013. The Naples number 7 is his.

🎨 Azzurro with gold shoulders — Macron dressed the European campaign in deep blue lifted by gold at the shoulders, with an old-school polo collar. A gala kit, for a season that was one too.
