Shirt condition
Excellent condition
The azzurro blue is even, with no fading or pilling, and the navy V-neck keeps its shape. The FIGC crest and its four gold stars are intact, as are the Puma logo and the tricolour sleeve trims. Just one thing to point out: the small heat-applied marking at the bottom left of the shirt has worn off (photo 5). It makes no difference when worn.

The Italy that missed the World Cup
In 2017, the Italian federation changed its identity: a new, cleaner crest, topped by the four stars of the 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006 world titles. Puma launched it on this azzurro blue shirt.
The Squadra Azzurra, led by Gian Piero Ventura, finished second in its group behind Spain and had to go through the play-offs to reach Russia.
13 November 2017, San Siro: after a 1-0 defeat in Solna, Italy fail to score against Sweden (0-0). They miss a World Cup for the first time since 1958.
That night, Gianluigi Buffon says goodbye in tears. This shirt belongs to a generation at a turning point, just before the rebuild that led to the 2021 European title.
Frequently asked questions
Is the mark at the bottom visible when worn?
Barely. It is a small heat-applied marking a few centimetres wide, at the bottom left, whose print has worn off (photo 5). Tucked in or worn under a jacket, you won't notice it.
Why four stars on the crest?
Each one stands for a World Cup title: 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006. They are embroidered above the FIGC shield.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Read the inner label: style 752284-01 matches this Puma home shirt, and you can check it yourself. Then look at the embroidery on the crest and stars.
How does this XS fit?
It measures 45 cm pit to pit and 64 cm in length. It is a fairly short adult XS: ideal for a slim build or a teenager.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
