🛠️ Note from the Atelier: the label reads 06/12 with code X23745 — June 2012, a few weeks after the club's first Champions League. That is why everything on this shirt is gold: the crest, the three stripes, the sponsor, the nameset. The detail I always check first is the “CFC” woven inside the back of the collar: it is there, crisp.

📖 The story behind this shirt

Summer 2012: Chelsea had just won their first Champions League and signed a 21-year-old coming off four monstrous seasons in France. Eden Hazard took the number 17 and immediately had the Premier League at his feet. At the end of that season, Chelsea took the Europa League in Amsterdam — hence the patches stitched onto this shirt's sleeves.

❓ The questions I get asked

Is the shirt authentic?

Yes. I check every piece by hand: label, product code, weave, lettering. Here the adidas code X23745 dated 06/12 is clearly readable. If it is not authentic, I refund everything, return shipping included.

Why Europa League patches?

Because Chelsea played — and won — the Europa League that season. These are the competition patches, stitched onto the sleeves, alongside the UEFA Respect badge.

Is the gold nameset original?

Yes, it is the official nameset from that season, with the small Chelsea crests built into the digits. I photographed it close up.

How does the XXL fit?

66 cm wide and 82 cm long flat. adidas cuts from 2012 are fairly straight: it is a genuine XXL, roomy without being shapeless.

How long until I get it?

I ship within 24 to 48 h from France. Allow 2 to 3 working days in mainland France, a little more internationally.

What if the size does not fit?

You have 14 days to send it back to me. The shirt just has to come back in the state I sent it, that is all I ask.
