Ballack and Ancelotti's double

In 2009-2010, Carlo Ancelotti arrived at Chelsea for his first season in England. Michael Ballack, Germany's captain, wore the number 13 in midfield alongside Frank Lampard.

9 May 2010, Stamford Bridge: Chelsea thrashed Wigan 8-0 on the final day and won the title with 103 league goals.

A week later, Chelsea beat Portsmouth 1-0 in the FA Cup final and completed the first double in their history.

It was Ballack's last season in London: injured in that final, he missed the 2010 World Cup and then joined Leverkusen.
