📖 2016-2017: Renato Sanches, the Euro prodigy at Bayern
In the summer of 2016 Renato Sanches arrived in Munich crowned European champion and Golden Boy. This charcoal grey away shirt belongs to his first Bavarian season — the only one he spent in full at the club.
🏆 10 July 2016 — European champion at 18. Renato Sanches won Euro 2016 with Portugal, in the final against France, and was named best young player of the tournament. Weeks later he signed for Bayern.
🥇 Golden Boy 2016. The award for Europe's best young player of the year, previously won by players such as Messi, Agüero and Pogba.
🏆 German champions 2017. Ancelotti's Bayern won a fifth consecutive Bundesliga title and reached the Champions League quarter-finals — the campaign whose patches this shirt carries.
👑 Renato Sanches — Portuguese midfielder brought through at Benfica, revealed at 18 at Euro 2016. His No.35 at Bayern only existed for a very short window: a rare printing, exactly the kind of piece serious collectors look for.

What does the patch with the number 5 mean?
It is the UEFA "Badge of Honour", worn by clubs that have won at least five European Cups. Bayern had five at the time of this shirt (1974, 1975, 1976, 2001, 2013).
Why is the No.35 so rare?
Renato Sanches only wore that number at Bayern for a very short period, with limited playing time and a loan the following season. Few shirts were printed with his name — and even fewer in the European version.
