Thiago Alcântara, signed from Barcelona in 2013, was one of Pep Guardiola's favourite deep-lying playmakers in midfield. This 2015-2016 season marked Guardiola's last at the helm in Munich, capped by a third consecutive German title and another Champions League semi-final — hence the UEFA multiple-winner badge stitched on the sleeve of this shirt.
This navy and red third shirt, carrying the Telekom sponsor and the "Mia san mia" motto on the collar, captures a period when Bayern dominated German football unchallenged while chasing another European crown.
