Superb condition for a 2010 shirt: the white is still crisp, no holes, no bobbling, lettering and World Cup patch perfectly in place, gold DFB crest intact. In full transparency I flag a slight beige mark on the lower side, visible in photo 6 — it's the only flaw found, and it sits in an area that is covered when worn.

📖 2010: the Mannschaft reinvent themselves, Özil breaks out
Germany arrived in South Africa with the youngest squad of the tournament and a style nobody expected: quick, technical, relentlessly forward. At the heart of it, a 21-year-old playmaker trained at Schalke and playing for Werder Bremen, who would leave the World Cup as one of the most coveted players in Europe.
📅 23 June 2010 — Ghana 0-1 Germany. Özil curls one in with his left foot and sends the Mannschaft through to the last 16. His only goal of the tournament, but one of its finest.
📅 27 June 2010 — Germany 4-1 England. A counter-attacking masterclass in the round of 16, now a staple of every World Cup highlight reel.
📅 3 July 2010 — Argentina 0-4 Germany. In the quarter-final, Maradona's Argentina are swept aside. Germany would fall to Spain in the semi-final, then take third place.
📅 August 2010 — off to Real Madrid. A few weeks after the tournament, Özil leaves Werder Bremen for Madrid. This shirt therefore belongs to the very last « before the fame » window.

Is the shirt 100% authentic?
Yes. The adidas code P41477 and the 06/10 date are readable on the original inner label (photo 4) and independently verifiable. Add to that the gold-embroidered DFB crest with dated three stars, the stitched 2010 World Cup patch and the gold Deutscher Fußball-Bund collar. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.
What exactly is the flaw?
A slight beige mark on the lower side of the shirt, visible close up in photo 6. No holes, no bobbling, no lifting of the lettering otherwise. That is what explains the 9.5/10 rating rather than a 10.
Why does the crest carry only three stars?
Because in 2010 Germany had three world titles: 1954, 1974 and 1990 — the dates are actually embroidered inside each star. The fourth star only came after the 2014 triumph. It is a foolproof dating marker.
Why did Özil wear number 8?
That was the number assigned to him for the 2010 World Cup, his first major international tournament. He only took the 10 for Germany later on. The 2010 No.8 is therefore specifically tied to the South African tournament.
How does this 2010 adidas shirt fit in L?
